A short stay at Borrowdale Caravan and Motorhome Club Site.

Описание: So it's our first trip of 2025 and we spend a few days at the beautiful Borrowdale Caravan and Motorhome Club Site, set in National Trust woodland, in the Lake District and just a short stroll to Derwentwater.
From the campsite Dave takes in the fantastic views of Castle Crag and Cat Bells.
Dave sets up the Cadac for one of his famous barbecues and contemplates whether to cook one of the resident pheasants.

After a good nights sleep Dave sets off for a walk and with the weather being so good decides it would be rude not to take a trek up Cat Bells, to gain some elevation, and get some fantastic views.

We spend some time exploring around the lake, which has some fantastic walks directly from the campsite. We get to see a couple of low flying jets, on our way to the cafe in the pretty little Hamlet of Grange, adjacent to the river Derwent where we have the nicest panini ever!
