Welcome to another one of our new series Uttarakhand.After visiting Ladakh and Spiti Valley in our campervan.
We planned for Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand.This time we have named this series as 10 Days Challenge.Because we want to see if we can take this 10-day trip with our campervan?Throughout this journey, we will try our best to make the most of our campervan, Keep eating and drinking, do everything in that.What was our good experience and what was the bad experience in this entire 10 day journey, we are going to share with you all here.Hope you enjoy as much as Ladakh in this entire series.TO CHALIYE SHURU KARTE HAI

Uttarakhand
is known as Dev Bhoomi (Land of Gods), as it is the land of great pilgrimages, sacred temples and places, which attracts millions of pilgrims and spiritual seekers to get enlightenment. The pilgrimage of 4 Dhams located in Garhwal region are considered the most sacred places in India: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

These four ancient temples also marks the spiritual source of four sacred rivers as well: River Yamuna (Yamunotri), River Ganga or Ganges (Gangotri), River Mandakini (Kedarnath) and River Alaknanda (Badrinath).

Badrinath Dham Yatra
The famed town of Badrinath is among the four dominant Char Dham pilgrimage sites of India as well as the Chota Char Dham. It is perched at an average elevation of 3,300 metres (10827 feet) above sea level on the banks of Alaknanda River.

This holy town is named after the Badrinath temple dedicated to the preserver, Lord Vishnu. Many Hindu devotees are smitten by the charm of this holy shrine as it showcases the traditional Garhwali wooden architecture.
