AI Security Robot to Safeguard Japanese Train Station

Japanese Railway company Seibu Railway recently conducted a test run for a security AI robot that will soon operate on a trial basis at a Tokyo train station.
The robot, Persueusbot, was named after "Perseus", a term originating from Greek mythology referring to a great Greek hero who slays monsters. The company says their creation can detect suspicious persons and objects, and will hopefully be used at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics to protect people from potential threats and harm.
Persueusbot is equipped with artificial intelligence devices linked with security cameras, and is able to move around designated areas of the train station, detecting unfamiliar objects or people who are exhibiting so-called "unusual behavior".
