Our Foster Mama cat rejected her litter because they were not thriving. 2 of her babies died before we picked up this litter.
Update: The mama actually reclaimed her babies once we had them thriving again. We ended up losing Tucker a week later when he got sick again but Tanner survived. Cheri went on to care for Tanner and FIVE orphaned kittens that came to us without a mom! Cheri and all 6 of her surviving and adopted babies were adopted into loving homes 😃

I'm including links to 2 of my videos that I think will be helpful if you find yourself in this situation. In the description for the Fading Kitten vid, I have links to several resources like feeding charts and product lists to help you find the correct Kitten formula and such.

If mama stop caring for them, they can lose body heat and get hungry and weak very quickly.
The 2 biggest things are to get them warm and raise their blood sugar, immediately. You can use a heating pad or warm rice sock for warmth and a medicine syringe or eye dropper to give them sugar water. You can use regular sugar, maple syrup, honey, etc for the sugar water.
