Co Meath is located in the Boyne Valley in the North East of Ireland. This video will give you a snippet of some of the amazing heritage, landscapes and activities that are to be enjoyed in the area.
Take a trip on the Boyne Canal in a traditional currach with Boyne Boats, kayak on the River Boyne in Trim with Boyne Valley Activities, visit Tayto Park to enjoy their fantastic zoo, raptors, rollercoasters and more. Be Irish for a day at Causey Farm- learn how to make brown bread or to play the bodhrán. Visit an Irish whiskey distillery in Slane or check out the weekly market at Rock Farm and don't forget the castle!
Take time to appreciate the heritage of the Boyne Valley- with 5000 year old monuments at Brú na Bóinne and Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman Castle at Trim to mention just a few- you will be astounded at the rich history of the area.
