BayWa r.e. started Floating-PV in 2018, expanding to 17 projects with over 260 MWp total capacity across four countries. Our 24.5 MWp Grafenwörth project in Austria, is Central Europe's largest Floating-PV project. Compared to a gas power plant, this floating solar power plant reduces 10,493 tons of CO2 annually and delivers enough electricity to power 7,500 average Austrian households.
