One of New Zealand’s leading transport companies, Northchill Group needed to upgrade their workshop pit to keep up with the servicing requirements of their expanding fleet.
They chose a Levanta steel prefabricated pit, which at 20 metres long is twice the length of their existing pit and almost twice as wide. It’s fully kitted out with ventilation, lighting, air lines, roller brake tester and a 20 tonne jacking rail.
They were impressed with the initial drawings, but now that they can actually walk down the stairs and stand inside the pit they’re blown away by the extra space for their technicians.
It’ll be a whole lot brighter, a whole lot easier to work in, and far more efficient.
