Going into the advancers round I wanted to make matchplay but as the games went on I kept setting my goals and expectations higher. As I kept climbing I didn't think about any scores. By the end after it was all over I found myself on top. After qualifying pins reset and matchplay starts just hours later. I got a spot on team USA but there is a lot more work to do after qualifying.
All of the scores are online at the Junior Gold 2023 website and I really recommend checking it out. There is a lot of great bowling that shows how good youth bowlers are around the country. Congratulations to everyone who made it to the advancers round and especially matchplay.
