Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir says the nation stands united like Bunyan-um-Marsoos against all internal and external threats. During the Corps Commanders’ Conference, Pakistan Army leadership reaffirmed its commitment to counterterror operations and regional stability.

Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the Iran ceasefire is still holding despite ongoing tensions in the Gulf. The United States continues escort missions in the Strait of Hormuz, while General Dan Caine emphasized Washington is not seeking a wider conflict with Iran.

The UAE has restricted its airspace after Iranian missile and drone activity triggered emergency security measures. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned attacks on the UAE and expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Emirati leadership and people.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi credited Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating dialogue between Tehran and Washington, while Saudi Arabia backed Pakistan’s mediation role and urged restraint across the region.
