Improving the compatibility of IP Engineering wheels with LGB pointwork

The narrow profile of IP Engineering wheels means that any stock using IP wheels have difficulty negotiating LGB pointwork, particularly the tightest R1 turnouts. One solution to this problem has been to replace the 23mm diameter IP wheels with 24.5mm diameter Bachmann equivalents. However, sometimes it might be difficult to replace the wheels on wagons which have already been constructed. To solve this problem, I glued 1.5mm thick plasticard disks to the back of each wheel. This decreased the back-to-back measurements sufficiently to enable the wagons to successfully negotiate LGB R1 points - even at speed - as can be seen in the video. UPDATE - Swift Sixteen kits are now provided with Accucraft wheels and so should not have this problem.
