A driver traveling on the Southfield Freeway toward I-96 found out the hard way Wednesday morning that it’s important to slow down during slick, icy road conditions.
A Michigan State Police dash cam caught the harrowing video at 10:30 a.m.No one was injured, but it sure looked scary and the driver was cited for numerous violations.
“A trooper was writing a crash that occurred on I-96 in the express lane and this individual came down the ramp from southbound Southfield too fast, lost control of the vehicle and hit the tow truck,’’
Luckily the tow truck driver, the state trooper and the two drivers involved in the accident all walked away uninjured.
