I stopped by Rick Ware Racing and had a nice conversation with Tim Brown about his upcoming Cup Series debut that will happen at the track where he has 101 wins and 12 championships in the Modified division that races there weekly; Bowman Gray Stadium.
Brown will race for Rick Ware Racing in the number 15 car in The Clash, a NASCAR exhibition race that will kick off the 2025 NASCAR season.
He gave me the details about how the opportunity came about to be and how excited he is to get this kind of opportunity after racing at BGS for almost 30 years.
Brown also works for RWR building shocks and suspension components for the team. But he also has a 30 plus year history of working for NASCAR teams that all started with a race team owned by Cale Yarborough.
