Remember that body weight is king. A 500lb deadlift doesn't matter if you can't run a mile without stopping. Your calisthenics and aerobic capacity will be the most important aspect of your fitness for this training!
You have to learn to move your body weight well, then worry about adding on external loading. Once your out of basic/ academy you can shift emphasis and round out your overall fitness more with s focus on strength training.
