How To Paint a Folk Art Farm Landscape | Acrylic Painting Timelapse

Описание: I'm showing how to paint hay field in this landscape art progress video. Sharing my folk art inspired painting of a farm scene in acrylic paint on canvas as a painting timelapse.

This time-lapse video shows how I painted a country hay fields landscape. The painting is a 10"x12" that sold a few years ago, but I remember that I enjoyed creating this colorful piece, it has a cheerful folk art style. The imagery in this painting is from my imagination, so no source material was references.

You'll notice that part way through, the painting seems to turn upside-down and then right-side up... often when I'm painting I'll turn the canvas around so I can see the painting in a new way. Then I turn it right side up to finish off. It seems odd I know, but the process has always works for me lol.

I start with an orange base as it makes the colors I put on top brighter, plus and any gaps between strokes will show orange instead of white. This is how I usually start all my acrylic paintings. If you have any questions about my process or materials be sure to ask in the comments!
