The Hard Truth

People with Narcissistic Personality Disorder don’t form deep, stable attachments the way emotionally healthy individuals do. Their focus is on validation, control, admiration, and emotional regulation — not mutual love.

You were special while you were useful.
You were important while you were validating.
But once the chase ended and the novelty wore off, the dynamic changed.

That’s not a reflection of your worth.
It’s a reflection of their emotional limitations.

Once you understand this pattern, you stop internalising it.

You stop waiting to be remembered.
You stop hoping you ranked higher than the others.
And you start choosing people who value you for who you are — not what you provide.
