Описание: When have you felt uncomfortable about a conversation? Perhaps when meeting people for the first time, or when someone has a shockingly different perspective. Where did that discomfort come from, and what might we do about it? In this honest, insightful talk, Angela explores what she learned while running away from uncomfortable moments, facilitating events on crucial-but-often-avoided topics (sex, failure, emotion, disagreement, death, etc), and experimenting with conversations in her own life. Angela has created community events where speakers candidly share business failures (F*Up Nights Singapore) and discussions on taboo-but-crucial topics like sex, religion, social norms, imposter syndrome, etc (Cut The Small Talk, Sex Geekdom Singapore). She designs tools to support useful and intriguing conversations (Speakeasy Cards), coaches individuals, and facilitates workshops for organisations.
