Jito Network's (JTO) JitoSOL has surpassed Marinade to become the largest provider of liquid staking tokens (LST) on Solana as of November 2023.

Jito Foundation has developed Jito-Solana, an open-source Solana validator client that maximizes the positive aspects of MEV, such as increased rewards and network efficiency, while minimizing its negative aspects, such as spam trades and unsuccessful transactions. Currently, the Jito-Solana validator client utilizes more than 230 validators and accounts for over 40% of the Solana stake.

You obtain yield-bearing JitoSOL, which is a representation of your initial SOL investment plus any accumulated staking incentives, when you stake into Jito Network's stake pools. SOL deposits will be distributed by the Jito Network stake pool among a decentralized group of 100 validators who are using the Jito-Solana client. Jito Network's treasury and JitoSOL receive the MEV incentives from validators in the stake pool, along with the staking rewards, resulting in a positive flywheel.
