🥗 Full Recipe: Beetroot & Kala Chana Tikki Wrap
🛒 Ingredients:
For the Tikkis (Makes 6–8):
• 1 cup kala chana (black chickpeas), soaked overnight & boiled
• 1 medium beetroot, boiled & grated
• 200g paneer
• 1 green chilli (optional)
• 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp garam masala
• 1/4 tsp chaat masala
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp chopped coriander
• 1–2 tbsp besan for binding
• Oil for shallow frying
For the Wrap:
• Whole wheat rotis or wraps
• Sliced onions, tomatoes, cucumbers
• Lettuce or spinach (optional)
• Green chutney / Yogurt dip / Mayo
• Lemon juice
• Chaat masala

🔥 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Tikki Mixture:
• Slightly mash the boiled kala chana – keep some texture.
• Mix in the grated beetroot, , chilli, crumbled paneer, ginger-garlic, spices, coriander, and binding agent.
• Combine everything well. Adjust texture with more besan or breadcrumbs if needed.
• Shape into round tikkis.
2. Cook the Tikkis:
• Heat a pan with a little oil.
• Shallow fry the tikkis on both sides until crisp and golden brown.
3. Assemble the Wraps:
• Warm your roti or wrap.
• Spread green chutney, yogurt dip, or mayo.
• Place 1–2 tikkis, add fresh veggies, sprinkle chaat masala, and squeeze a little lemon juice.
• Roll it up tight. Slice in half if you're feeling fancy.
4. Serve:
• Enjoy immediately or wrap it up for later. Great for office, school, or road trip snacking!
