Testing TORO 60 Volt Revolution Backpack Battery (60V Tether + Hedge Trimmer Review)

Описание: In this video we are testing TORO's commercial 60 volt backpack battery system, the 60 volt tether, their 60 volt commercial hand held hedge trimmer, and their 60 volt power base with articulating hedge trimmer attachment to see if the backpack is a tool you would feasibly use with the hedge trimmer.

In my personal opinion only I don't see myself using the TORO Revolution backpack battery with the tether and hedge trimmers because there just isn't a need. The main reason to wear the backpack and tether is to increase run times, but the hedge trimmers last forever when running batteries compared to all the other tools, so there is little benefit in adding run time.

The second reason to wear a backpack is to remove the weight of the battery off your arms/hands from the tool, but again, since I can get plenty of run time from a 4 pound 2.5AH battery, it isn't worth it to put on a 10 pound backpack (empty), load in two batteries (8 pounds if I use two 2.5AH) and run it that way. The 20 pounds on my back creates more wear than the 4 pounds on my arms/hands.

I will say that using the hand held hedge trimmer is a SERIOUS arm and forearm workout even without a battery installed, and I have never liked how close the blade gets to my body when using hand held hedge trimmers, so I almost exclusively use shafted hedge trimmers for safety and comfort.
