I tested a Polo GTI from Nrent just out of the dealership with Michelin Primacy road tires (!)
It amazed me for the fun it manages to give despite being not a track car! I think it is one of the most right cars for newbies!
unfortunately because of many yellow flags I don't have a complete video, I had to join a couple of onboards but it still gives the idea of what this small road car can do.
