Landmines and unexploded ordnance hinder the reconstruction of people's lives and communities. To enable affected countries to implement mine action independently and sustainably, Japan is providing assistance to Cambodia, Ukraine, Colombia, Laos, and various African countries. Ukraine is also among the countries receiving support. Here is an introduction to JICA's mine action support.
