Introducing The Gathering Quartet, a new European traditional string quartet. This live recording features two tunes from our international repertoire, the first was written by our bouzouki player Mats, and the second is attributed to Swedish fiddle player Ante Falk.
Recorded by Krzysztof Globisz at Heriot Toun Studio, April 2025. With thanks to Creative Scotland for funding this project.
The Gathering Quartet are: Luisa Brown (fiddle & octave fiddle), Mats Nystam (bouzouki & mandolin), Olena Yeremenko (fiddle), and Louis Bingham (cittern & guitar).
