Make a simple forged hair clip, DIY Blacksmith project

Описание: 2024-2025 has been a crazy time for us, many life changes have taken place. In December we purchased a homestead north of our city situated on 8 acres. The property is gorgeous with a natural prairie field, a 3/4-acre pond that is stocked with fish and a 1-acre evergreen forest with trails. the Barn located on the property we had initially thought of using for the new home of Empty Pockets Ironworks, but we quickly realized that it was in horrible condition, didn't have adequate electrical and leaked horribly. And when i say leaked I mean under the walls off the field, and every single joint and seam is either rotted or unsealed. Eventually we are going to tear it down. In the meantime, I ordered within our budget a new building, I planned it to have 12-foot walls and 10-foot doors opposite of each other for air flow. Only problem is we ordered the building in February, and it wasn't completed until mid-July. The building is purpose built for my Blacksmithing and is 20x24. Overall, it is 10-foot smaller than my old shop but it's out in the country and it was made specifically for Me.
I just wish my shop equipment didn't have to be stored for so long in a wet environment.

The home is Gorgeous has had many changes and features enough rooms for our large family; we did have to make updates to electrical including an entirely new service panel.
Overall, I am extremely happy and excited to be back into the shop and doing what I love. we have many projects planned and will be uploading more frequently now that we are settled.

For this video it is a switch back to basics, after taking almost a year off it has been a hurdle of baby steps to get back onto the bike so to speak.

Regardless, I am happy to be here and hope that my audience will return in some capacity.
