The shrinker stretcher is the ideal tool for replacing wheel wells, window channels, or any patch panels that needs forming. The WFSS10 is capable of working up to 18 Ga. steel and 16 Ga. aluminum.
The tool is equipped with two dies, one for shrinking material, and the other for stretching. Before you use the tool, you will need a material piece with a 90o bend. The lip of the bend should range from 1/8ʺ to 1ʺ. This makes the shrinking-stretching process easier to perform.
Loosen the four cap screws to install the die. The stretching die will have the lip on the outside of the part, while the shrinking die will have the lip on the inside. Take the part and insert the bent lip into the jaws of the tool. Push the handle down, and you will see the part beginning to form. Continue the process till you get the desired radius.
