Cause: static?
It was a very dry day, and I kept feeling static electricity whenever I got in or out of the car. I expected static because of the conditions. After recovering my drone, its components needed calibration, but it never successfully calibrated. I started to think my drone might be broken, especially since I bought it as a refurbished unit. I also suspect that when launching the drone from the car’s hood, it might remain charged or even pick up more static electricity, unlike when it takes off from the ground where the static can dissipate.
