Airstream AC Vent Mod – NoLox and a DIY Solution

Описание: This was one of the first upgrades we made to our Airstream when we hit the road, and boy was it worth it! Cleaning your AC filters is an essential part of routine maintenance in your Airstream. To get to the filter, you need to remove the AC return covers. The problem is the screw holes will strip over time. This is a common issue with Airstreams like ours that have the ducted AC system.

This simple modification replaces those little screws with easy-to-use thumbscrews that won’t strip out over time. And another great benefit, no tools are required to clean your filters anymore!

Kevin and Deborah over at NoLox Solutions offer a great kit that includes everything you’ll need, except a drill, to get the job done. Or you can piece it together on your own using our parts list below.
