Troops of the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division, Philippine Army, successfully uncovered a hidden firearms cache in a remote area of Old Decoy, Sitio Panukmuan, Barangay Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, on January 18. The cache contained three AK‑47 rifles along with their magazines. The operation was conducted by the combined forces of the 75th Infantry Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Battalion, and intelligence units, all operating under the operational control of the 401st Infantry Brigade.
