Описание:
A brown wolf snake spotted around 5 pm in The upper part of mount Santubong National Park in Sarawak, Malaysia. The snake is crawling on a bottom mainly consisting of tree roots covering a trail that leads to the summit of the mountain. Overall body length is about 80 cm. The snake has broad yellow stripes on the belly. The top color is a uniform dark brown.
The Brown Wolf Snake’s pattern changes with its age; hatchlings are brown with a series of white or yellow rings completely encircling the body throughout its length. This snake is a good climber and it inhabits lowland forests in southern Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra and Borneo. This is a non venomous oviparous snake.
