ਪਤਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੱਗੜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਈ contempt petition ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਜੱਜ ਅਰਚਨਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। SI ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੋ ਤੱਗੜ ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪਰਚੇ ਦੇ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ੀ ਅਫਸਰ ਹਨ, ਨੇ ਤੱਗੜ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਕਤ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਤੱਗੜ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕੇ IO ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀਤੀ ਜਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨਾਸਿਬ ਹਰਜਾਨਾ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਏ। ਅਗਲੀ ਤਰੀਕ ਮਾਰਚ 9, 2026 ਹੈ।

The High Court has sought a reply from the Punjab Govt by issuing a notice on a contempt petition moved by journalist Rajinder Singh Taggar. It was argued that SI Davinder Singh, IO in the case, violated the Supreme Court's directions while arresting Taggar, and that he should be punished.
