DARK MERMAID IN THE SEAWEED (a slightly eerie video of Mermaid Shadow underwater) ft. bronze bells!

Описание: DARK MERMAID SWIMS IN SEAWEED - Mermaid Shadow is river mermaid. But, sometimes rivers dump her off into strange waters and she gets lost. Please enjoy this video of her being lost in this lake! Hahaha!

This video was a tough one to film, and I was EXHAUSTED while we were filming it. Not only was the lake very wavy (hard to tell from underwater, huh?), which makes it hard to swim in a mermaid tail, but my silicone mermaid tail was really weighing me down that day. The black tail that I'm wearing weighs about 45 lbs. Unlike my other silicone mermaid tails, this one does sink, specifically at the fluke, where the bulk of its weight is. This tail is NOT good for shallow water, since it tries to "stick" to the ground. It's a beauty... but it is a pain in the butt sometimes!

Anyway, the combination of the waves creating more resistance / beating me up and my tail trying to drown me made it difficult to do much more than swim in a straight line. So forgive me for the lack of tricks, spins and such in this video. We actually had to cut the swim short due to me getting exhausted quickly. This was an inland lake, not Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is always good to me. :')

So please enjoy this short video. I know it isn't too exciting. Sorry about that!

BUT!

While I did overlay sounds of my ancient Han Dynasty bronze bells in this video, you can also hear the sounds of my mermaid bell belt underwater in some of the clips. It is much louder in real life. Hehehe! Because this mermaid character was inspired by my favorite pirate, Gan Ning, I felt that it was important to give credit where credit is due... since the bell belt idea is not my original idea. I kinda stole the idea from a pirate. ;)
