Dr. Rajesh Fogla is the Director, Cornea Clinic, Apollo hospital, Hyderabad. Over 50 publications in peer reviewed journals and Innovator of many surgical instruments. He is the Pioneer for Lamellar Keratoplasty. He was graduated from Gauhati Medical Collage, 1992 batch with a GOLD medal and completed post-graduation and cornea fellowship from the temple of eye, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He further pursued Mmed from National University of Singapore and FRCS from Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr. Fogla’s outstanding contributions in the field of cornea earned him many prestigious national and international laurels like TLK Rao Memorial Award in 2000, Omprakash Oration Award 2006, LC Datta Oration Award-2011, SICSSO Gold Medal-2014, IIRSI Gold Medal-2014, AAO Achievement Award-2014, JOS Gold Medal-2015 to name few.
He continues to mentor cornea surgeons from across the world to make tertiary cornea care available for the suffering millions.
