until now ive only posted gamedev stuff, but... this is something new! this is my first time making a full length song with any vocal synth, let alone any lyrics in general... and my first time making what could possibly be called a "music video" if you squint really hard... i hope you like it 'w'

piled up with projects that i doubt i'll ever finish
'cause it seems the more i add, the more the quality diminishes

art's s'posed to be gratifying but it's not supplying
but i want to make it worth it, so i guess i'll just keep trying
guess I'll grow a spine, and post my projects online,
but if nobody's there to see it,

i've listened to this song on loop a billion times
and every repeat i find something new that's wrong with the rhymes
or the chords, or the mix it's frustrating to fix
but if i don't put in the effort,
then, like, what's the point, then?

this bit is unfinished so i'm coming in hot
with these mediocre lyrics i made up on the spot,
and um...

if you're scared of criticism,
mask it with a witticism:
brittle little lies that might disguise all that precisianism
fake it 'til you make it, or you can self-deprecate
for the illusion that you're safe from any angry mobs of hate
that might come knocking at your doorstep just to point at a flaw
you know, i really have to wonder if it's worth it at all
to keep on making and creating when there's people out there hating
based on tiny little follies that degrade the whole thing's quality, and--
