I just rediscovered this second video on the amazing Trost organ and wanted to share it: Some months ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at St. Walpurgis Church in Großengottern, Germany. This Trost organ is one of the last of its kind and features the amazing, ('third-heavy') Thuringian organ sound which you hear very rarely, even around here. This organ uses the Werckmeister temperament and consists of about 1.200 pipes and was an absolute joy to play!
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the famous 'Prelude and Fugue in F Major' by J. S. Bach (BWV 556), recorded on the pipe organ at St. Walpurgis in Großengottern by Paul Fey. This probably is one of the most iconic organ pieces of all time.
