Judaism teaches that this world is only a corridor to the world to come(i.e. Olam Habah). This world is time-bound and a place for taking action, as opposed to the world to come, which is "Nitz'chi" (i.e Eternal) and a place to receive the reward. 'Olam Habah' is where the results of all our actions in this earthly existence will manifest, for better or for worse(depending on our actions)...for eternity.
