The perfect pointe shoe takes some care and crafting. When brand new shoes arrive from the shoemakers they aren't quite ready to wear fresh out the box. There are a few steps to take in order to create the perfect fit. No two dancers feet are the same, which is why they put in time and effort to personalise their shoes to fit their needs.
