This is a bit unusual for me, but I wanted to talk about... well, I wanted to talk about a lot of things, but mostly I wanted to talk about how Ninja Sex Party and TWRP use their aesthetics and the history of pop culture to present a particular positive vision of nostalgia and adulthood, as informed by the ephemera of a 1980s & 90s childhood experience.
