VICTOR – A man accused of killing his wife and her unborn baby appeared in court shirtless via Zoom on Monday. Jeremy Albert Best, 48, is charged with two counts of first-degree in connection with the deaths of his wife, Kali Randall, and her unborn child. Police said Best also kidnapped her 10-month-old baby, Zeke Best. The baby was later found dead near where Best was arrested in Bonneville County over the weekend. Zeke's death is being investigated as premeditated homicide, according to Bonneville County Prosecutor Randy Neal. According court documents, the body appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds the right chest and right side. The deputy turned the body over and attempted CPR but was unsuccessful. Police reports say the body " very recently as it was very flexible and not at all rigid." Additional deputies arrived and cleaned inside of the two shops and house.
