ASMR Cooking - Rose Jelly, Matcha Green Tea, Raspberry Cake (no music, no talking, real ASMR sounds)

One batter, two cake flavors! From the same bowl too :)
It's a mini 4 inch cake (aka Bento cake) with matcha green tea and raspberry layers, and with rose jelly pieces in between!!
The pretty color combination makes it a perfect dessert to display during festive holidays, but tastes yummy enough to eat all year round.

Ingredients:
(serves 6-8)

Cake batter
• 1 cup self raising flour // 170g
• ½ cup white sugar // 110g
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract // 5g
• ¼ cup vegetable oil // 58g
• ⅔ cup soy milk // 165g
• ½ tbs apple cider vinegar // 7g

Matcha Green Tea half
• 280g batter // slightly more than half
• 1 tsp matcha powder // 3g

Raspberry half
• remaining batter
• ¼ cup raspberries // 40g // 12

Rose Jelly
Makes ~12 floral shapes and fills 1 small ramekin
• 300ml water
• 3.5 tbs sugar // 45g
• 8g carageenan (https://amzn.to/2KrFDwU)
• 2 drops pink colouring
• 1 drop red colouring
• 1 tbs rose water (adjust to the strength of the essence)

Matcha Green Tea Buttercream (makes 1 cup)
• ¼ cup vegan buttercream, melted 10-20 secs
• 1 tsp matcha powder // 3g
• ¾ cup buttercream

Rose Jelly Buttercream (makes 2 cups)
• 1 cup rose jelly, diced
• 1 cup vegan buttercream

Extra 2 cups of buttercream required for decorating

Decorations
• fresh raspberries
• dried roses, aquafaba or sugar syrup
• powdered icing sugar

Tools used:
• 2x 4 inch cake pans
• spatula/ bench scraper
• bowls, spoons, whisk
• small brush
• small ramekin and jelly mold (optional)
