In the spring of 2003, Tokyo DisneySea debuted a limited-time show centered around the Little Mermaid. The show took place in Mediterranean Harbor and fit well with the park because of Mermaid Lagoon. The show was basically a land/sea carnival that was interactive with the guests. Before the show a small pre-parade would take place on the shore of Mediterranean Harbor featuring the Tokyo DisneySea Maritime Band.
Fun Fact:
4 barges were reused for Aladdin’s Whole New World in 2005 and the main barge that held Ariel was reused in 2008 for Primavera: Springtime Sun.
