A fabulous example of the 911 coupe equipped with the G50 transmission. This car has just 19,300 original miles.
I don't usually get all philosophical while sitting in a car seat, but I burned the first 1:30 of this video just talking about how wonderful I think a good, 1980s Porsche 911 really is... and it's true... it's the ONE car that can do it all.
One correction... I mention the shop 'Auto Edge' in the video, that serviced this car, they are in Mahtomedi, MINNESOTA, not Wisconsin as I state in the video.
0:00 - 1:46 - Gushing about how amazing I think this car is, how amazing any late 80s 911 is really, before even starting the engine.
1:47 - 7:20 - Part 1 of the real test drive, spirited driving over twisty, undulating backroads in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate, NY.
7:21 - 8:12 - Sitting still, just waiting for some other car to get way ahead of me so I don't come up on it too quickly during the rest of the test drive (meant to cut this bit out or the original footage, but just never did).
8:13 - 15:22 - Rest of the test drive, Up the big hill, over more backroads.
