Late breaking news from the Town of Hempstead as today's town council meeting was interrupted by protests. New town supervisor John Ferretti was on the receiving end as questions were raised about how he was appointed to the role by outgoing Supervisor Don Clavin.
Schools around town are getting back in session, including HANC's coming move to their beautiful new campus on Hempstead Avenue. Congratulations to our own Fire Department as their drill team, the Westerners performed very well at state championships, and took the overall points total for Nassau County for the 2nd year in a row.
Dave gets some satisfaction on a broken sidewalk, clothing donation opportunities are everywhere, and we go off on all the political flyers clogging up our mailboxes.
