In this video, we start with a carburetor rebuild. The question is, can they be salvaged? We will see what happens to these classic Honda motorcycles when they are parked with fuel in the carbs. Spoiler alert, it ain’t pretty.
This is Part 1 of a multi part series demonstrating how to get a classic Honda back on the road. I’m helping a friend complete his project do to a medical condition. A lot of the work had already been done, including engine paint and powder coating, new spokes and tires, and plenty of new parts waiting to be unboxed.
In our usual “The Seasoned Rider” format, the goal is to ride it. Follow along and watch this Classic Honda CB550 F SuperSport roar back to life.
