Every year, during the winter season, the Mahabodhi Mahavira Temple in Bodhgaya hosts the Tripitak Puja, a sacred Buddhist ceremony. In this puja, Buddhist monks and nuns across the world chant the Tripitak and pray to preserve and propagate the teachings of the Buddha.
