Levi Platero is a talented guitarist and songwriter from the Navajo Nation in the Southwest United States. He started playing guitar at the young age of nine, drawing inspiration from blues legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and the three Kings. Levi is known for his unique blend of blues, rock, and traditional Native American music.
He gained recognition as part of his family band, The Plateros, which emerged on the music scene in 2004. The band has been compared to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Los Lonely Boys, and ZZ Top. Levi later pursued a solo career, releasing a self-titled EP featuring the single "Take Me Back," which won the 2016 Native American Music Award (NAMA) for Best Blues.
Levi's music is a fusion of Texas blues, vintage rock, and modern guitar influences, and he is known for his captivating live performances. He continues to inspire many with his dedication to blues rock and his efforts to bring this genre to Indigenous communities.
