RJ Andrews - How to inspire the world with data [open class]

Описание: Data storytelling is a crucial part of Data Visualization, because it builds up meaning and promotes understanding. The book and the project “Info We Trust” is about helping people to craft better data stories that can both inspire and inform people. It blends analytics and persuasion to help realize data's value — from insight to action.

This open class was put together by Data Visualization Lisboa in partnership with DIV : Design, Interaction and Visualization Research Group, for the Data Visualization students of the Master’s Degree in Interaction Design from the Lisbon School of Architecture.

Data storyteller RJ Andrews is author and founder of Info We Trust. RJ's talent is helping organizations solve information problems. His passion is studying the history of information graphics to discover design insights. He is currently editing the Information Graphic Visionaries book series. The first three books focus on the advancements of Emma Willard, Étienne-Jules Marey, and Florence Nightingale.
