In this episode, we explore how Baptism fits into the economy of salvation and why water carries such deep meaning throughout the Old Testament — from creation, to the Flood, to the Red Sea, to the Jordan. We look at circumcision as a foreshadowing of Baptism, and at Jesus’ own baptism, which reveals the new birth of water and the Spirit that truly saves. We also examine what it means to be buried with Christ and raised with Him as a new creation, how the Church celebrates the sacrament, who can receive Baptism, and why the Church baptizes infants.
