Why women leave the workplace

Research by McKinsey & Co in 2018 found that the challenge was not only that women were leaving senior management positions, but the crucial problem was actually a failure to employ and promote women from the ground up in the first place. Women were feeling that they had to work twice as hard as their male counterparts to get the opportunities for career advancement, for training & development, for pay rises and promotions.

To make a change to the system it's going to be the women and the minority groups who step up into leadership. Who become the role models, and become the champions of change for those women that come behind them. This needn't be an issue for the next generation.
