I've always wanted to sit down with TWO versions of one of my favorite songs and compare them. I'll talk about the history of the song, study the musical differences, James Jamerson's playing on BOTH versions, and get into the lyrical changes that made it so much more than a love song. Let's get into Ashford and Simpson and how "Ain't No Mountain" went from Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell (1967) to Diana Ross (1970) and everything in between!
