Nida Khan was reportedly detained by Sambhaji Nagar Police on Thursday night and is set to be produced before a Nashik court today. Her arrest comes after the court rejected her anticipatory bail plea. Investigators allege Nida Khan was involved in hurting religious sentiments and assisting accused linked to rape, sexual exploitation, and coercive activities. With this, the eighth accused in the high-profile scandal has now been arrested. Earlier, Danish Sheikh, Shahrukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, and Akhtar were also taken into custody. The case exploded last month after serious allegations emerged from a TCS-linked BPO unit in Nashik, where employees accused certain staffers of sexual harassment, mental abuse, and attempted religious conversion — triggering statewide investigations and a multi-team manhunt.
