দীর্ঘ রাজনৈতিক সংকটের পর নবনির্বাচিত বিএনপি সরকারের সামনে একটি ভঙ্গুর অর্থনীতি দাঁড়িয়ে আছে, যেখানে দুর্নীতি, ব্যাংক সংকট, অর্থপাচার, বিনিয়োগ হ্রাস, কারখানা বন্ধ ও কর্মসংস্থান সংকট এর মূল কারণ। অন্তর্বর্তী সময়ে কিছু কাঠামোগত সংস্কার শুরু হলেও দেশের স্থিতিশীলতা ফেরেনি। তাই নবনির্বাচিত সরকারের সামনে প্রধান চ্যালেঞ্জ হলো বাজারে আস্থা ফিরানো, ব্যাংকিং খাত শক্তিশালী করা, বিনিয়োগ বাড়ানো, শ্রমবাজারের পরিবর্তন ও AI-জনিত প্রভাব মোকাবিলা করে টেকসই ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক প্রবৃদ্ধি নিশ্চিত করা।
